| A call has gone out for any Ham radio
operators in the area that may want to coordinate with others for emergency broadcasting
during emergencies. If you know of someone who may be interested, please email us at reia_lc@thereia.org. |

| The first two of sixteen Tsunami
Warning Sirens have been placed at Roads End Park and the 'D' River Wayside. The other
fourteen are being held up because of equipment and sites to be established from
Roads End to Gleneden Beach. Be aware that testing of individual alarms will be sporadic
as they are installed. |

| Discussions are underway for an
emergency broadcasting station from Lincoln City Hall. Roads End would be within the range
of the new station. Until then KYTE FM is on the air during emergencies. |
